Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa is the closest hotel to the theme parks and part of the three on-property Disneyland Resort hotels.
It is inside the California Adventure Park, so staying here, you can walk into California Adventure from their private access.
Of course, you will still need a ticket and theme park reservation to enter.
To access Disneyland Park from here, you walk over to the Disneyland theme park entrance right across the street.
Disney Grand Californian Hotel has a great spa where you can rejuvenate after a day at the theme park.
There are several outdoor pool areas to lounge or splash in the afternoons.
There are several restaurants on the property – Storyteller’s Cafe is a buffet-style restaurant that has character experiences during breakfast and brunch.
Napa Rose is an upscale fine dining table-service restaurant.
2. Disneyland Hotel
Disneyland Hotel is part of the three on-property Disney hotels and is a luxury hotel providing an excellent Disney vacation experience.
This hotel is on the other end of Downtown Disney. From here, the walk to the park entrance is around 10 minutes.
If going to Disneyland Park, you can also take the Disney Monorail, which will drop you inside the park at Tomorrowland.
You will need a valid ticket and a theme park reservation to take the monorail to Disneyland.
